Mentor Application

2017 Mentor Application Form

Mentor applications are now being accepted for the 2017 program. The goal of a YSF mentor is to encourage the students to explore their passion for science and acquire the research skills necessary to pursue a career in science and/or medicine. All mentors are required to be invested in training and educating students in their research projects as well as providing a welcoming environment that will allow the student to feel comfortable to ask any questions. Faculty members should assign an individual in their lab who will serve as the student’s supervisor and this individual will provide continuous support and guidance to students on a daily basis.

Thank you for your interest in serving as a mentor for the Summer Research Program for The Young Scientist Foundation.

Please fill out the mentorship record form and the online form below. Contact admin@ysf.org if you have any questions.
