YSF New York Gala 5-Year Celebration – March 13, 2017

On Monday, March 13, 2017, The Young Scientist Foundation hosted its 5-Year NYC Gala Celebration at the Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park. Due to the success of the event and support from our sponsors, donors and guests, we were able to raise over $256,000! The proceeds will allow the foundation to provide New York City-area students with the opportunity to pursue an interest in scientific research and enable YSF to engage them at an early age. Thank you to all of our supporters who continue to make this event and our mission a success! Chef Floyd Cardoz | Paowalla
Chef James Kent | The NoMad

If you could not attend the event, we appreciate your support of our New York Young Scientist Scholar Program which aligns with our founding board members’ commitment to support New York’s youth, like Josh Isak, with a dedication to provide students of all backgrounds the access to world-class scientific research opportunities under the mentorship of nationally-renowned investigators, like Cheryl Lobo. The Young Scientist Foundation relies 100% on individual donations. A small investment in human capital can turn out to support the next great scientist who could make a discovery that will help move forward the treatment of cancer or other life-threatening diseases. Without the dedication of our supporters, we would not have grown so substantially in the last year.
